Hi everyone, my name is Brandon and I am a grade 8 student. This new blog is about how 3D Printing can be sustainable for the earth. At my school the grade eights are doing a Unit called "Take Only Pictures." This unit is about how humans can impact society. It's about us teaching our class different ways to help solve the problems that have an effect on the earth. Our teacher Mrs. (Noa) Daniel has given us an assignment where we have to pick a topic and research how that idea is or can be sustainable.

My topic is about how 3D printing can be sustainable for the earth. First, everyone had to create a pitch for their topic, before we could make our T-Talk. We had to research our topic to create a pitch. Since my topic is 3D printing I had to reaserch how 3D printing can be sustainable, how much money it would cost to get 3D printers, how much money a 3D printer can save. It was very difficult to find information about how 3D printing can be sustainable and sadly when I did find information sometimes I was not able to understand it so easily. Since this topic is very advanced and researchers are still looking for ways to make it faster and more efficient, there is not too much information about how it is sustainable yet but lots of information on how it could be sustainable in the future.

I got help from my teacher and my mom, and I started writing my pitch. I have presented my pitch already and I feel that I did a great job. I explained why 3D printing is sustainable and I think I did a great job convincing my audience that this topic is sustainable and that this topic would make a great T-Time Talk. If I had to rate my pitch from 1-10 I would rate myself an eight, because I stuttered a little while I was presenting and I made some pronunciation errors. All in all I thought this was a very effective pitch.
